Outstanding provider of residential services for developmentally disabled/behaviorally-challenged individuals. Great staff and day programs. A life saver for older parents!

We have one of their group homes down the street. We constantly have the police and fire department on our once quiet street. Trash and recycling is left out for days because the workers can't get the schedule straight. Our neighbors have been threatened by residents and the workers hang out in the yard smoking. The police took who we think is a worker there away in handcuffs this morning. This is a quiet neighborhood and complaints to this agency have gone completely unanswered. We are afraid for our children. It is disturbing to see the workers grab a resident, straight jacket them and drag them back in to the house. Many neighbors now want to move.

Advoserv now called Bellwether Behavioral Health is not a place I would recommend parents to place their child. They are very careless and unorganized. My relative was a resident there for many years. He was nonverbal and day in and day out he'd appear with unexplainable bruises. He was in the hospital more than three times in a month. He lost a great amount of weight and no matter how many times we complained reports of constant incidents were ignored. They cover everything up and do not watch the kids. Workers spend most of their time outside smoking cigarrettes. My cousin is actually now dead and they can't even determine why. We didn't even receive a letter of condolence and not one of their representatives came to visit my family during our time of grieving.

This is the worst place in the world to enroll your beloved family members in. My brother lost his life in the hands of this center and they are truly the worst center ever. He died a month ago and we still yet to hear what happened if he was healthy, didn't suffer from anything and all of a sudden he just passed or so they say. The employees are unprofessional who are probably not even licensed or trained to deal with people with special disabilities. My brother was constantly in and out of the hospital with serious injuries that they had no reasonable explanation for. He entered the facility weighing a 175lbs, well groomed, well nourished, continent and able to communicate verbally. He left the center DEAD, weighing a mere 113 lbs, with an ear deformity thanks to the accidents he continuously had, bruises all over his body, his rib cage deformed, his hands and fingers crippled and incontinent. This facility will destroy your loved ones so dont take a chance with them. They are killing people all over and if you google their name you will read articles that contain the reality of what they do within these facilities and how cruel the employees are. They dont care about anyone except for the paycheck they receive and that's it. The director KIM and the one before her HEATHER are both unprofessional unrealiable people who dont care for the well being of those disabled residents. No matter how much you complain, they will not do anything. My brother passed away a month ago and those people since that day never called again nor did they show up to his funeral or send a condolence card or anything at all. To them it was as if an animal had past and not a human being whom they use to say they loved so much and was a part of the institution for so many years. They are truly hell on earth and I dont wish that anyone put their loved ones in this place. This center has something big coming to them which is why they changed their name recently to Bellwether Behavioral Health thinking that they are going to get away with hurting these poor disabled people. BE AWARE.

Horrible Place. My son was there for 7 months. He lost 25lbs, had unexplained bruises everywhere. Staff lies and cover up everything. My son is non-verbal so they actually got away with it. He had more visits to the ER than he has had his entire 27 years home with me. He even required surgery for unexplained trauma to his ear. Needless to say he's back home with me. Parents if you're looking for placement Advoserv is not the place. Yes, we are tired and sometimes overwhelmed but I couldn't leave my child in the care of people who knowingly mistreat our most vulnerable. I will continue to pray and trust God as to have left my child in the care of these animals. Shame on you Advoserve!
